Popular Singer "Portable" Release from Jail over ₦14m Debt

Singer Portable, also called Habeeb Okikiola, got bail after a night in jail for not paying the last part of a G-Wagon car he got from a seller. Cops took him on Tuesday in Abule Egba, Lagos, Nigeria. Reports say Portable got a ₦27 million car but only paid ₦13 million, owing ₦14 million.

Nigerian music craftsman Habeeb Okikiola, otherwise called Compact, was captured by the police in Lagos on Tuesday, May fourteenth, 2024, for purportedly neglecting to pay the equilibrium of a G-Cart that he bought from a vehicle vendor. The vehicle seller guaranteed that Versatile owed him N14 million for the vehicle.
